"Elementos Básicos de la Rehabilitación Deportiva: Una Mirada Multidisciplinaria" es una obra concebida con el propósito de revitalizar el hábito de la lectura, entendida como una herramienta esencial para el crecimiento académico y profesional. En un contexto donde este ejercicio se ha visto relegado, el libro invita a redescubrir el valor de detenerse en cada página para reflexionar, aprender y construir conocimiento colectivo.
La obra se estructura en tres tomos que abordan los fundamentos de la salud física y la actividad deportiva, los procesos de evaluación y diagnóstico, y las estrategias de rehabilitación y readaptación. Su contenido está orientado a estudiantes y profesionales de las ciencias de la salud vinculadas al ámbito deportivo, con el objetivo de fomentar un trabajo interdisciplinario que integre diversas perspectivas en beneficio del deportista y de la práctica clínica.
Un rasgo distintivo de este proyecto es la participación voluntaria de un equipo multidisciplinario de especialistas, quienes respondieron al llamado a aportar sus saberes y experiencias para dar forma a una obra rigurosa y a la vez cercana. Esta unión de esfuerzos refleja la convicción de que el conocimiento se fortalece cuando se comparte y se construye de manera colaborativa.
Más que un manual, este libro es una invitación a profundizar en la fisioterapia deportiva desde una mirada integral, académica y humana, que busca inspirar nuevas prácticas y consolidar la lectura como pilar del aprendizaje.
