Sinopsis

El enfermero desempeña un rol crucial en el cuidado de la salud mental, ofrecen cuidados holísticos y abarcando aspectos físicos, emocionales y psicológicos; mediante el uso de diferentes metodologías investigativas el enfermero propone y ponen en marcha cuidado que involucran los pacientes desde el inicio del proceso, brindando asistencia, orientación y un rol educativo a nivel individual y comunitario.
En la Prevención y Recuperación, las intervenciones de enfermería se centran en mejorar la calidad de vida de quienes sufren trastornos mentales y promueven la recuperación y la identificación de factore de riesgo de la enfermedad mental en los diferentes momentos de vida.
Un libro de enfermería sobre el cuidado de la salud mental sería una herramienta valiosa para educar a los profesionales y fomentar su comprensión de la relevancia de su papel en este campo tan importante.
